Ref's,

We are coming down to the wire now -- one more month until opening games
(August 30th) with the regular season starting on 6th September.  Team
assignments should be finalized very soon; which will lead to game
schedules; which will lead to referee assignments.  So login to webyouthsoccer
and set your preferences.

Please check out the Referee Training page for details of training
courses, meetings, your Volunteer Form and the webyouthsoccer system:
http://ayso43.org/RefereeTraining.html.  We would like as smooth a
startup as possible so please check in this month.

August 24th (Sunday) at 6PM is the Orientation (for all refs) and
refresher course (for returning, non-upgrading refs) at the Los Altos
Library on San Antonio.  Uniforms and equipment will be available there
as well.

Uniforms and Equipment are available to:
a) Any new referee
b) Any UPGRADING referee (upgrading to a new grade)
c) Any referee who has put in 5 years of service (or a multiple) and not
received equipment in the last five years.

Take advantage now to get a full uniform, flags, and whistle from the
equipment stock.

LADIES: we do not stock ladies jerseys (pockets on the sleeves instead
of shirt) in most sizes.  If you expect to receive a new jersey this
year, please respond with your shirt size and grade (U8 Official,
Regional, Area/Intermediate, etc.).  We still do not have any better
solution for shorts or socks.
