Quick Details for those familiar

6-9 March, 2008, Salt Lake City Convention Center, Utah
(note: 6-7 March for Instructor courses): Sections 2, 9, and 12

Lodging Info (individual lodging reservations usually required)

Register for the conference through your Regional Commissioner on the regions master registration form. Or, if the RC is not handling central registrations or you are not being reimbursed by your region, then register via eAYSO. Special instructions for eAYSO registration (2006) are available. As most of us do not use eAYSO, there is a special eAYSO tutorial on getting setup there for the first time. Note that the RC has to validate your access before you can then register for the conference.

Registration opens 29 Nov 2008. $40 discount if registered by 24 January 2008. Registration closes 7 February 2008.

Separate registration for the Instructors training on 6-7 March, 2008, same location. (local copy 2007)

What is a Section Meeting?

Workshop Overviews and more general information for all section meetings.

Basically, a place to meet other parents similar to you who are running a program in their city. Sometimes just Section 2; other times a super conference of multiple sections. Exhibits, mini-courses, awards, and lots of networking with other volunteers like you. Many parallel tracks of seminars for coaches, referees, board management and general interest. Raffles at every meal, motivational speakers, and a keynote. All packed into 48 hours from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. Some activity before as well. A chance to network and find out how other regions operate. Get new ideas. Solve nagging problems. Improve your skills.
