Spring Outdoor Soccer 2008:
•  Spring 2008 Program Overview
  -  Region 43 does not have access to fields in Spring. So we support Select teams only. These are open only to registrants of the Fall 2007 season and involve try-outs. Generally for the more skilled player.

  -  Region 64 West San Jose (Valco area) has fields and thus an open registration Spring Program for ages U6-U16
.
  -  Region 35 Cupertino also has a Spring Program.
All volunteers must have a current, active Volunteer form submitted at http://www.eayso.org/. Tutorial available.
New to Region 43? See Area Served, About Us, and Age/Gender Division Overview.

 Field Behavior:
• Read our Good Neighbor policy for when you are around the fields.
• Remember that Blow-Outs are not compatible with the Spirit of Soccer, AYSO Positive Coaching, and the PCA Double-Goal philosophy. It is the coaches responsibility to maintain team balance during a game.
• All fields are Kid's Zones. Coaching and cheering should be Positive, Instructional and Encouraging (PIE) at all times. Constant, loud, or negative coaching is abusive. See our concerns page about who to discuss issues with. See the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) parent pledge as well.

Safe Haven Certification: (1) Child and Volunteer Protection course available online and required once for all Coaches and Referees. Safe Haven certification is in addition to (2) submitting a volunteer form each year and (3) having current job specific training. You need ALL three to be covered by liability insurance, medical insurance, and the US Volunteer Protection Act. Training available online. Online classes require http://www.eayso.org/ activation. All other volunteers need BASIC training if they have not taken Safe Haven Certification.

Area Served:
Region 43 primarily serves north Los Altos and Los Altos Hills, California including the parts of Mountain View and Palo Alto that are in the Los Altos School District. All of the 94022 zip code and that portion of 94024 that go to the North Los Altos School District schools generally play with us. Students from these schools or living within these school attendance boundaries play in this region with their classmates or neighbors (these are also our home fields):

Almond   Bullis   Covington   Santa Rita   Egan Middle   Los Altos High   Foothill College
Bullis Charter   St. Nicholas    Pinewood Upper & Lower
AYSO does not recognize boundaries. You are free to play in any region you desire. Our sister Region 45 normally serves Mountain View school district and the south Los Altos / Los Altos Hills schools (Blach, Oak, Loyola, and Springer; including Montclaire). Region 26 normally serves Palo Alto and that part of north Los Altos Hills that is in the Palo Alto School District. You are welcome in our region or any other. See our links page for other nearby regions that may work better for you.

There are over 1600 Los Altos and Los Altos Hills kids playing AYSO soccer; an additional 900 in Mountain View and 2400 in Palo Alto. With over 15,000 players in Northern Santa Clara County, come see why we are the most sought after youth sports program in the area.
